The experiences of infants during their early months of life are crucial to brain development. Working together, our teachers give the Gentog infants and toddlers lots of personal attention. They encourage interactions between the children, and help them learn to share and to use gentle hands with their friends. Babies develop intellectual and social skills through singing, playing, sharing books and observing their teachers.
While we don't expect a six month old to sit for circle time, as the children get older and show interest we introduce colors, numbers, and letters. With music, posters, games, and daily interactions students gain confidence in repeating and naming these building blocks of learning and language.
Every morning the lambs have “Grandparent Time” with our seniors. While they visit the seniors, they have a variety of activities including toy exploration, and music classes! We encourage natural interaction through exploration. Infants and toddlers are often brought out of the classroom for one on one walks and visits with the seniors, where they listen to music, exercise with the seniors, or simply enjoy some baby adoration conversation.
We are accepting infants for January 2025. We accept ERDC payments. If you are interested, please complete the enrollment form and schedule a tour today.
